Welcome to Arbor Prep: Coach LJ Frazier

Arbor Prep Athletics is excited to welcome our new Girls Varsity Basketball Coach, LJ Frazier. Coach LJ comes to us prepared to usher in the next generation of Girls Basketball players, at a variety of development levels. Take a moment to read through his introduction below, and we can't wait to see him and his squad in action this winter! 🏀🐊 Tell us about your basketball playing/coaching experience. I played one year of varsity basketball at Lincoln High School and three years at Ypsilanti High School before earning a full scholarship to play four years at Eastern Michigan University. I have more than a decade of coaching experience at the freshman, JV, and varsity levels, including serving as a varsity head coach. What helps create success on the basketball court? Success comes from relationships, accountability, and hard work. When players trust each other, embrace their roles, and commit to getting better every day, winning becomes a byproduct of the culture. Arbor Prep Girls Basketball has a history of great success. What do you bring to the table that is going to help create your own success here at AP? I bring energy, passion, and a commitment to player development. My goal is to build strong relationships with our student-athletes while creating a positive and competitive environment that helps them succeed on and off the court. What should everyone at Arbor Prep know about Coach L.J. Frazier? I care deeply about people and relationships. I want every player to know they are valued, supported, and challenged to become the best version of themselves both on and off the court.
